Domain Update

The domain I bought from Go Daddy auction is finally mine. I received an email from them telling me that my transaction is complete. Afterwards, I then added hosting on it, then installed wordpress. All I have to do now is make lots of posts then make links with that domain.

Oh another thing. I also placed a bid on another domain and finally won the auction. I paid for it already and am just waiting for another email again regarding the complete transaction. I wonder what to do with that domain?

PageRank Update

I’ve been seeing blogs posting about Google pagerank update. It seems that Mr. G has finally made a big pagerank update after almost nine months, the major one being on April 2010. Many bloggers, especially those who do paid posts are happy since most of them got a higher PR. That means more opportunities for them.

How about this blog? It has a PR of 0 and I’m not sure why. I’m about to build links but I’m contemplating whether to as for exchange links with other bloggers or just do my own stuff. I’m afraid that since it has 0 pagerank, bloggers won’t add my links to their blogs.

So in building back links, I’ll do my own way for now and make this site even worth a PR1 next update.

Blogging is Not for the Faint of Heart

It’s easy to start a blog but maintaining it really requires lots of hard work. Someone start a blog for personal diaries while for some, it’s to earn money. For those writing personal diaries, there isn’t much stress and daily maintenance but for those who wants to earn online, one must really be patient.

Why is patience needed? Earning money online doesn’t take a day or a week. It takes months if you’re lucky and years if not. It also takes some skills such as Search Engine Optimization and social skills since your blog must have back links. In order for you blog to have back links, you must comment on other blogs, join blog directories, join viral posting and the likes.

It also takes lots of creativity to think of what to post and time must be allotted as well for blogging. I can really say that this blog still has a long way to go. Hopefully, I won’t get tired of updating this. Really, blogging is not for the faint of heart.

Finally Bought a Domain from GoDaddy Auction

No, it wasn’t a domain won from bidding, but I bought the domain using the “Buy Now” option. GoDaddy Domain Auction has an option that an expired domain can be bought even without bidding. It also doesn’t require membership. I was able to buy the domain for $5 plus the domain renewal fee and ICANN fee.

It’s only a PR1 blog but it’s okay. I’ll experiment on it if it won’t lose PR and hopefully, it won’t. I’ll work hard for it to gain back links.
