I didn’t know about Johnny Air Cargo until hubby told me about it. He said we could try buying then have the item shipped c/o Johnny Air. Me of course agreed since it means shopping time, teehee. I was supposed to buy a bag when we stumbled upon watch site. I ordered a watch and have it shipped to Johny Air’s NY office. So here’s the complete steps I did in trying out JAC’s service.
1. Since I bought through Amazon, I changed my shipping address to:
JetC/(My Name)
JAC Corp
69-04 Roosevelt Ave.
Woodside, NY 11377
2. After buying an item, since I know the estimated delivery days (items bought online usually have estimated delivery dates), I informed JAC that I’ve bought an item and have it shipped.
3. When I received an email about tracking date, I emailed JAC for the traking code. I also called their Makati office to inform. They then emailed me a client profile form to fill-up and sent it back after with my scanned ID.
4. After waiting for a couple of days, I received a text message informing me that the item is ready for pickup and the amount to be paid.
5. I went to their Makati office to pickup my item and paid in Only cash is allowed for payment.
Additional Notes:
a. Exchange rate is based on Airline rates. Check their website for the current rate.
b. If you are buying different items from different sites but want all of it to arrive at the same day, you can have it consolidated. There’s an additional fee of $20 I think.
c. For gadgets like laptop, there’s additional fee of $50. For iPhone, it’s $15 and for iTouch it’s $25.
d. Packages leave their NY office (not sure for other offices) Mondays and Thursdays.
e. You can have your item delivered with additional $10
It was a hassle free shopping! If ever I’ll need to buy a laptop or any gadgets and items, I’ll go with JAC. The best!
