Jennifer Aniston Has a New Haircut!

Category : Entertainment

I found out about Jennifer Aniston’s new haircut while reading an online magazine site. The Just Go With It actress is seen sporting a new bob while promoting her movie with Adam Sandler in Madrid, Spain. I like her new ‘do and I wish I have the same hair type as her, but she does look older now, no?

X-Men First Class Trailer

Category : Entertainment

I love X-Men from the very beginning so when I found out that there’s going to be a prequel, I couldn’t wait for it to be released in theaters. It’s still a few months away but the trailer is now available. The movie X-Men First Class is about Professor Charles and Magneto before they became archenemies.

“Before Charles Xavier and Erik Lensherr took the names Professor X and Magneto, they were two young men discovering their powers for the first time. Before they were archenemies, they were the best of friends, working together, with other Mutants (some familiar, some new), to stop the greatest threat the world has ever known. In the process, a rift between them opened, which began the eternal war between Magneto’s Brotherhood and Professor X’s X-Men.”

X-Men First Class stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Oliver Platt, and Kevin Bacon. When is the release date of the movie? It’s on June 3, 2011. I can’t wait to see the movie and see how Professor Charles became bald, LOL.

Just Go With It, A Perfect Valentine Movie

Category : Entertainment

I love Jennifer Aniston and she’ll always be one of my favorite actresses. I’ve loved her since her “Rachel” days in Friends. I’ve loved her when she got married with Brad and I also got devastated when they got divorced. I liked Angeline Jolie before but I began not to like her when she and Brad got together. She has always been in the limelight and many rumors are on-going about her. Many people don’t like her but me, I still prefer her over Angelina.

She’s been in lots of movies but she’s typecasted in romantic comedy films just like Just Go With It. The movie stars her as Katherine and Adam Sandler as Danny, along with Nicole Kidman, Brooklyn Decker and Nick Swardson. Here’s the movie synopsis.

Danny is a successful plastic surgeon who pretends to be unhappily married to get women. When he finally meets a girl he believes to be the woman of his dreams, he doesn’t use his method on her, but she soon finds the wedding band he uses. Afraid of telling her the truth, he tells her he’s getting a divorce, to which she requests to meet his soon-to-be ex. He asks his office manager Katherine to pose as his wife in order to prove his story, but one lie turns into another that brings Katherine’s children into his scheme, resulting in a trip to Hawaii that will change all their lives.

Just Go With It will be available in theaters on February 11, 2011 in the US. Here in the Philippines, it will be shown on February 16, 2011. Just Go With It could be your post-Valentine’s Day movie.

Thia Megia on American Idol 2011

Category : Entertainment

Another Filipino pride made it on American Idol 2011. I’ve posted yesterday about Manila Luzon who’s in RuPaul’s Drag Race. Now another must watched on American Idol is Thia Megia, 15-year old. She got the golden ticket to Hollywood after singing Chasing Pavements by Adele.

Thia Megia planned on auditioning next year but since American Idol lowered down the age limit, she decided to try it this year and made it.

She was already in the semi-finals of America’s Got Talent but didn’t make it. Will she make it even to the Top 24 this time? I do hope so. Here’s her audition video if you haven’t seen it. :)

Manila Luzon : RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 3

Category : Entertainment

I thought she was from Manila, Luzon, but after reading articles, I found out that’s her drag name in RuPaul’s Drag Race season 3. Manila Luzon was born and raised in the U.S., in Minnesota but she’s proud of her Filipino heritage. Luzon’s mother is half-American. Her mother is a Filipina while her dad is from Minnesota.

Why did she chose Manila Luzon? According to her, she wanted to celebrate her Filipino heritage and thought brining Asian-ness to her drag would be fun. Her mother was born in Manila and the place is in Luzon.

I wonder what her real name is? Anyway, for more details about this fierce and witty RuPaul’s Drag Race contestant, check it out here.
