I’ve been dying to have a haircut since the last time I had was a year ago. Yup, that long right? I got pregnant and I gave birth last February so now is definitely a good time for a haircut. My hair waist-length already and I’ve been having falling hair. Before I go to a salon, I want to look for a haircut that will fit my face shape. I have a long or oblong face shape and here’s what I’ve discovered about hairstyles for my face shape:
- A perfect style is the one that adds volume or width to the face.
- Bangs is great especially for those with wide forehead.
- Chin-length bobs are ideal since it creates illusion of width.
- Never part hair in the middle as it makes the face look longer.
- Long layers work better that long straight hair.
- Consider adding waves or curls as they add width to the face.
- Pixie cut is a no-no. It doesn’t fit a long-shaped face.
Now with these in mind, I wonder what haircut will I get? I want curls but I can’t at the moment. Maybe I’ll have side-swept bangs then have a shoulder-length layered cut. Will I look good in this?
